An article on Mashable reports the recent partnership between Apple, Visa, Mastercard and American Express to formulate a digital mobile platform for all phone users to make purchase through their iPhones while they shop in stores. I guess its about time that this would happen considering there have been numerous digital wallet applications that have hit the market but yet to gain enough traction from their applications. Quite expectedly, the new iPhone come with NFC chips, creating the possibility for digital payments. While a lot have little success in this area, Apple has a considerably high change of gaining success. I do see a lot of innovative opportunities to tap on. Will you be comfortable to try out mobile payment through your phone?
While I have yet tried Google’s latest app release for iOS, i am pretty sure the Google Photo Sphere app is another thrilling innovation. And im right. It allows us to take really wide panoramic view and three-dimensional views through our phone. Frankly, I love how Google’s UI always have that snazzy minimalistic design packed with truck loads of exciting features. Not only does the camera now comes with the positioning tool, a dot that allows you to target frames, it’s objective is to complete the experience for generating a fantastic image. And of course, it allows you to post your picture onto Google Maps! Check out the Photo Sphere app.
I have been wanting to post this ad for a while. Released by Adobe in an attempt to ridicule mindless marketers who simply had no idea what good marketing is all about. The Adobe Marketing Cloud is to enable marketers to effectively managed their online audience by further understanding and monitoring their presence. People need to understand that for something really groundbreaking, it is not just injecting pure creativity, there is an imperative need for unconventional content. Heineken’s social experiment, ‘Routine Interruptions’ placed thousands of people in a dilemma, in a decision making scenario. And I like decision making scenarios. You get people all cold feet and under stress while they attempt to make a really scary decision. In this case, the answer to an ultimate night out is simply picking up the phone, mustering up the courage to do exactly what the caller says. People get really scared when they don’t know what unfolds and this level of suspense is what builds the plot for this campaign. Excellent work there, Heineken.
Woah, you must be kidding. A wristband idea that cleverly connect us directly to the Internet by projecting information like time, calls, messages, emails or notifications from social media and other online sites onto our own flesh? Ritot has came out with a concept surrounding the smart-watch technology with projection features. While there haven’t been any physical prototypes yet, the company has amassed almost $375,000 on Indiegogo. This has got to be one of the most interesting tech gadget around. Considering Justin Timberlake’s movie, In Time, where you time literally being projected on human flesh, this is exactly what’s going to happen. The article on Mashable explains that Ritot taps on the pico projector to display content on top of our hands. There seem to be two models available. Interestingly, it is priced at a very affordable price of $120 and is estimated for delivery by early 2015. Definitely a tech piece that is going to rock the world soon.
I refer to a post on digitaltrends with regards to the possibilities of Samsung coming out with a new smartphone incorporating an iris-scanning security feature. Thats what we call future technology! Obviously such feature is what we often see in the movies. As reported, a hint from a tweet published on official Exynos Twitter account gave it away. The image you see a hypothesis of such innovation coming our way. Seriously, what is Apple doing anyway? And to think im actually waiting for the new iPhone! Users are tired of the swiping action, we need something new. Of course im exhilarated by this news, though I do have my own reservations on the feasibility of such features. Remember the last time they implement new awesome features that didnt exactly work like they do on their videos? Apparently some new features from Samsung tends to less useful but technically exciting. The article speculates a possible installation of this interesting feature on the Galaxy Note 4. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
