This is a great video which defines the difference between the Push and Pull factor. I do agree that in the long run the Pull beats Push. Generally, it would be correct to say these days Brands must learn to adopt customer-first thinking. The first step to failure is not identifying that your customers are actually savvy and your duty as a marketer is to impress them and not try making things all over the place. The fundamentals of marketing remains clear. Keeping in mind the 4Ps, Price, Product, Promotion and Place, we must ensure that all content pertaining to these 4Ps are attractive, useful and interesting. Always remember, be customer centric and provide for them not the other way round.
