Karl Lagerfield surprises us with a rather unique fashion installation this Fall/Winter 2014/15 collection. As much as we want to see the entire assortment blazing the walkway with hot snazzy models, it is definitely not going to happen. Instead, try imaging having a show like that in a supermarket. I have emphasized countless times the approach of using a different style and context from another product to market your product and how this has produce amazing success. The pop-up supermarket by Karl has proven to be somewhat the first in its existence. It featured groceries with cooking oil, pasta and lots of supermarket goods all branded with the iconic Chanel logo. We see models parading around the supermarket, giving that stark contrast between luxury and everyday mundane. Definitely a new experience for fashionistas.
