Impossibly cool. It has been a long time since I chanced upon really cool packaging designs. Swedish designer Gustva Karlsson’s designs enchanted me for a while. i love her packaging for Gothenburg-based Kino, a food restaurant and cinema. Her designs are lovely, well-differentiated and elegant. I guess the brilliance in the design spans across being both visually striking and yet extremely functional. Check out this interesting design fabricated from starch-lined paper. We can see the construction of the design is extremely intricate. It features a possible scenario where one can stack another bag on top. I particularly love the interior where there are really beautiful graphics. It has always been a constant challenge for creatives to marry functionality with aesthetics.
