What if you can transmit love to anyone in the world. What if you can do it with just a kiss? Burberry’s initiative a while ago managed to captured the essence of love through these simple gestures. ‘Burberry Kisses’, a project that lets anyone out there to send a virtual kiss from their mobile to people around the world. Working together with Google, a very engaging and interactive experience is born.
A rather interesting way to sell their burgers. McDonald’s have just came out with a rather innovative way to get their customers to order their signature burgers their own way. McDonald’s new create your own gourmet burger iniative in Australia is pretty interesting. It allows their customers to customise their very own burger. How cool is that? Check this guy’s burger at the end of the video!
Fancy having a can of Coke while you surf your phone browser or check an email? Coca Cola’s vending machines now equipped with Wi-Fi Internet access is one way to enhance their services.Even if it isnt for the drink, the idea of going there just for the Internet is going to get you to coin a can one way or the other. Together with BT Global Services, the free Wi-Fi helps to enhance experience in impoverished communities. Targeted to launch in Eastern Cape and rural Mpumalanga, the launch locations ensure easy accessibility to the local communities.
A really good idea to provide both win-win situations for both drinking and enjoying Wi-Fi services. Definitely a good way to enhance the experience and strengthen Coca Cola’s brand equity amongst the less developed areas. In fact, there were plans to actually install “Wi-Fi coolers” over the rest of South Africa. Do you think this is a good initiative by Coca Cola?

Fantastic. It has been a while i last posted and this has just got to be the post today. Brilliant execution by Wieden + Kennedy for FIFA 15, “Feel the Game”. As exciting as you might expect, one of their forte when it comes to long TV commercials with well articulated scenes of action. So much thrill, so interactive and highly engaging content. We see people’s exhilarated faces, disappointing faces, desperate moments of silent and the on-the-edge moment of scoring. So much excitement just like how you would expect when you are playing the game. Fantastic!
Expect to see more of these innovative toys coming your way. The Sphero, a smartphone-controlled vehicle is one that rolls distances, attempt stunts and even glow on its own! As it begun to gain more traction online, this smartphone-controlled toy, resembling a cylinder, is known as the Ollie. A term used in skateboarding where the skater attempts to do his stunt. The Ollie is a cylindrical ball that does quite a number of feats by simply spinning. Check out the video. Check more about this interesting toy here.
An article on Mashable reports the recent partnership between Apple, Visa, Mastercard and American Express to formulate a digital mobile platform for all phone users to make purchase through their iPhones while they shop in stores. I guess its about time that this would happen considering there have been numerous digital wallet applications that have hit the market but yet to gain enough traction from their applications. Quite expectedly, the new iPhone come with NFC chips, creating the possibility for digital payments. While a lot have little success in this area, Apple has a considerably high change of gaining success. I do see a lot of innovative opportunities to tap on. Will you be comfortable to try out mobile payment through your phone?
While I have yet tried Google’s latest app release for iOS, i am pretty sure the Google Photo Sphere app is another thrilling innovation. And im right. It allows us to take really wide panoramic view and three-dimensional views through our phone. Frankly, I love how Google’s UI always have that snazzy minimalistic design packed with truck loads of exciting features. Not only does the camera now comes with the positioning tool, a dot that allows you to target frames, it’s objective is to complete the experience for generating a fantastic image. And of course, it allows you to post your picture onto Google Maps! Check out the Photo Sphere app.

People need to understand that for something really groundbreaking, it is not just injecting pure creativity, there is an imperative need for unconventional content. Heineken’s social experiment, ‘Routine Interruptions’ placed thousands of people in a dilemma, in a decision making scenario. And I like decision making scenarios. You get people all cold feet and under stress while they attempt to make a really scary decision. In this case, the answer to an ultimate night out is simply picking up the phone, mustering up the courage to do exactly what the caller says. People get really scared when they don’t know what unfolds and this level of suspense is what builds the plot for this campaign. Excellent work there, Heineken.
