Got to love how creativity blossoms in Thailand. They make almost every awesome ad seemed so easy, so pioneering. One of the best formula for success has always been to nail the brief with what it is suppose to sell. Not only does viral content helps to garner traction, such ads touches people’s hearts, getting them all warm and fuzzy. Evoking this sensation that make them want to share or even rethink of their fortunes. Interestingly, in this ad the little boy isnt the typical frail little brat but a rather chubby looking boy hero. When it comes to an insurance ad, nothing beats getting the right message across through the emotional route.

Double decker TV

Truly these days when everything seemed so predictable and options so limited, we tend to adopt traditional risk adverse approaches when building brands. It is in such circumstances that the best option is indeed to create your every own media. Curb Media recently had London’s double-decker bus transformed into one gigantic mobile TV screen. With a whipping 36 meter screen, this is easily one of the most massive mobile TV screens ever. Interestingly, the bus was scheduled to rove around Covent Garden, embarking a 15-day tour in London. Best of all, there were both live and recorded event contents broadcasted. Together with really nice sound system by Curb Media, it turns out to be a fantastic experience. Outdoor activations when done right, yields tremendous results.

ABSOLUT Art

During my days as an art director, I have adored the ads and campaigns from Swedish vodka brand ABSOLUT. Not only were they provocative to a certain degree, it also depicts great art direction and impressive creative thinking in their work. On a design perspective, I haven’t seen some truly artistic groundbreaking packaging design from ABSOLUT before. This time round, they have release a series of killer designs. All the 11 flavors got their new creative look. The Brand Union had created a very vibrant and truly inspiring design for all the natural and sugar free vodkas. A sense of art can be seen when the designs are truly done up in through manual execution, comprising of raw art & craft tools like pens, paper, crayons as well as paint brushes.

“Our goal was to give our customers distinctive designs that are unlike anything one has ever seen,” Anna Kamjou, Global Design Director at ABSOLUT, said in a statement. “We asked our design team to reach into the symbolism and myths tied to the ingredients to find each flavor’s core essence—and then amplify that essence through art.”
