Another exciting collaboration between two powerhouse brands, the Chanel x Monster headphones is one with not only stunning visual appeal, it also comes with an obscene price tag. This really awesome looking headphone features Chanel’s signature leather design with quilted design and of course, their trademark black color. Looking really sleek and cool, the magnificent audio piece would cost $5,000 USD and is readily available at Chanel boutiques soon. Will you kop one for yourself?

Street Wear x LEGO

Woooo, it thrills me when two of my favorite hobbies come together. Pop culture has always been highly regarded as an ideal platform for brands to leverage on. Especially when two brands collaborate, the intrinsic value it brings across to its followers must allow them to remain emotionally attached. Now, we create more through cultures. When two cultures combine, the result can be extremely staggering. My perpetual love for street fashion brands and LEGO toys grew even more intense through Adly Syairi Ramly’s latest works. Love how he merge popular toy, LEGO, together with amazing brands through the clever use of their iconic minifigures. Check them out! Dope!

Geek chic

Who do you mix with during your college years? Is it the craziest bunch of wild after school party goers or the studios bunch of geeks in school? Well, you would probably also see a big difference in terms of fashion between these two extreme groups of people. You wouldn’t expect the geeky bunch to have that ‘wild’ dress sense and pretty much also explains why tech geeks are motivated in producing great gadgets but lacking that eye for making it ‘cool’ looking. Google has a knack for making awesome new inventions but it’s Google Glass design is lacking that appeal for a truly fashionable design. The headset is arguably so ugly that no one would bother wearing it. Now, thats where the crazy wild party goers, the designers decided to make it look like a stylish pair of glasses. One that Colin Firth would wear. Software development startup Sourcebits has came up with a nice designer concept for Glass. Check them out below.

Creative director Benjamin George explains: “Google Glass right now has an uneven weight distribution because all the tech is packed on one side whereas we have split it to both frame handles which logically made sense to reduce the thickness. Dual touch pads are an added benefit to cater to both right and left handed users.”

Wealth and investment companies often produce marketing collaterals with visual communications associated with financial references. Most often or not, there isn’t really a lot to shout about. However, working with financial clients do not need to be so boring. Jersey-based firm Affinity Wealth Management took their advertisements a little more personal. They have their agency, The Potting Shed to create a series of interesting ads that illustrates their financial communications in a fun and quirky manner. Using threads and pins, junior design Sam Falla created this series of ads. Beautiful and very original.
