I think humour has got no limits. Not that there is nothing under the roof you can’t joke about, but its more of what did you just joke about that caught my attention. check out this billboard execution. Very simple, very clear and extremely hilarious execution. once again, its a damn funny billboard.
This advertisement for baby carrots just shook me off the chair. They actually made healthy food so annoyingly attractive through unhealthy food advertising. LOL. Clearly, simple healthy food lacks good marketing effort. I for once believe that the whole ‘re-skinning’ process is not just merely putting on hippy looking visuals but rather using stronger messaging. Perhaps this advertisement has taken a more outlandish approach, but one that mimics how a typical junk food commercial might actually behave. I wonder if successful advertising means mirroring the traits of another category. Regardless, this ad has gotten my attention nonetheless.
To some, this might come across as shamelessly cliche. But I really love this ad. Snickers has been really successful in a lot of their campaigns especially in areas where the inject wicked humour. Check out their latest ad for halloween!
I have been wanting to post this ad for a while. Released by Adobe in an attempt to ridicule mindless marketers who simply had no idea what good marketing is all about. The Adobe Marketing Cloud is to enable marketers to effectively managed their online audience by further understanding and monitoring their presence. Interestingly, Adobe is diversifying its services for its Cloud platform. More details for Adobe Marketing can be found here.
Im sure this isn’t something new to all of us. Especially iPhone users out there, you KNOW it. The fact that we need to constantly plug in for battery power is beyond frustration. Somehow this video seemed to depict Samsung mitigating this issue. The new Samsung S5 with lesser power issues? Really? While I highly doubt so, I do think the commercial resonates with a lot of people out there. Most of us suffering from the mediocre battery performance from smartphones are compelled to make a switch to another brand often promising us longer, more robust battery performance. Well, i do think this is a rather amusing commercial of how Samsung would sell through benefit but at the expense of Apple.
Really? Getting three Manchester United soccer stars to endorse meatballs? This three-minute meals concept manufactured by Korean food company Ottogi features Robin Van Persie, De Gea and Januzaj in their trademark stances while mixing between scenes of meatball dishes. While performance for the club has been on the rocks lately, popularity for the club remains strong. This promotional ad is an example of continuos support, albeit it does look a bit weird.
Ahem~ “dear mainland”, Duncan/Channon USA has done some really lay back TV commercial for beer company, Kona Brewing. What we see is two chilled blokes living the life completely quite the opposite of many of us sloggers in the office. What really resonates with me is how nice these ads actually emphasise the meaning of taking a break and relaxing those fingers at work. So much in brand to what Kona Brewing wants to relate to their audience, these work shouts out the brand in subtlety.
The proliferation of hilarious pictures with pepperoni pizza was seen around the internet lately. Jonpaul Douglass, a photographer from Los Angeles got motivated to start a rather peculiar series of photography after seeing a funny pizza graffiti tag at the place where he stayed. He then began taking pictures with actual pepperoni pizzas and have them placed at random locations, objects and surroundings. Coined the humorous “Pizza In The Wild” project, the photographer took pains to hunt for the most suitable looking pizzas around, which he managed to source for at Little Caesars pizzeria at US$5 for a large pizza. Check out more from this interesting photographer by following Douglass on Instagram or check out the hashtag “#pizzainthewild”.
