The Zhuoda Group managed to create a 200 square feet home from scratch in merely 3 hours. Although they have been very lip tight on the materials and technology for the built, it is nonetheless a display of awesome work from the Chinese company. It actually took the company only 10 days to concept and finish the project. With six printed modules consisting fractions like the living room, kitchen, bedroom, toilets and more, the house is not only quick to fix, but also enduring in nature. It is said to supposedly withstand fire, water and even earthquakes. Now that is something to reckon with. Not only is the cost of the project extremely manageable, it also bring 3D printing to a whole new level. Im starting to see more of how 3D printing will influence our future.

I mentioned before a number of times the importance of having an engaging platform to communicate your message and this is clearly another example of how unique stunts can be effectively pulled off. Imagine a talking billboard that corresponds with you LIVE and actually invites you on a trip! Through the use of an interactive screen, Graubünden tourism was able to capture the attention of the public. By having a man in the mountains, they load up a real time camera and had him interact with the public. He invites them to a challenge and the person with the best yodel gets a free ticket to the mountains. Truly amazing.
Things are starting to wind up a bit since my last post on Arnold Schwarzenegger with him meeting fans on the streets. Here, we have a similar stunt but one with a heartwarming agenda. Johnny Depp dresses up as Captain Jack Sparrow visiting the sick children in Brisbane hospital. How much more awesome can it get? If Johnny visits us here in Singapore, it would stir up a storm I guarantee that! He brought smiles and joy to the beautiful children with his very existence and his quirky humour. Aside from the outlandish dressing as Sparrow, his accent and personality as a pirate brought so much imagination to the kids. What a fantastic opportunity for the children and a magnificent act of benevolence.
I have to admit Im a huge fan of the campaigns by W+K, Netherlands, and their recent campaign for Nike women does live up to my expectations. These short clips featured athletes with very strong determination. The negative thoughts running through their mind gets decimated almost immediately. And I believe the power of positivity is one of the main driving force for success. Remember, success don’t come easily, so do not let your negative thoughts push you over. Stay strong. Believe in yourself.

I guess our hectic life creates lesser opportunities for people to actually communicate or know one another. But this approach truly brings people together with just a touch of the button. OgilvyOne Frankfurt gave birth to an idea which targets the busy traffic light junction where hundreds of people would pass by. Their machines piqued the interest of the commuters and had them being curious and slowly finding out the mechanics of this pairing devices. As long as both side of the machines are both pressed together, a cup of Nescafe coffee appears. Everyone likes a warm cup of coffee before heading to work and this is done with the effort from somebody else. Wouldn’t this encounter just make your day better?
